Sandra and Gaspard Bébié-Valérian work together since 2004. Seeking to live the day-to-day beyond the preconceived and premade, they claim auto-determination in a creative and re-creative elan. Their projects include organic, chemical and electronic materials and relate to the relationship between industrial society and the living (human, animal, plant and microbial). They raise the question of a potential re-appropriation of technology for a critical thinking of the world.
Sandra et Gaspard Bébié-Valérian have participated in several exhibitions and festivals including Piksel (Bergen), Science Gallery (Melbourne), Voltaje Festival (Bogota), Rua Red art center (Dublin), EDF Foundation (Paris), Centraltrack (Dallas), National Dramatic Center (Montpellier), SKOL Art Center and Art Souterrain (Montreal) or the Santa Monica art center (Barcelona)...
